Looking For kppp ( Answered )
« on: January 06, 2010, 06:36:24 PM »
 After reading this post, http://www.pclinuxos.com/forum/index.php/topic,67196.0.html
I got curious and went to synaptic to look for kppp.

Even though I use kppp to connect to the internet (using it as I type) with my usb modem, it is not listed in the package manager
and does not even show in the installed packages.

 I find this odd !

KDE 4.3.4 installed and it is fully updated
  kernel is 2.6.27.31.tex5

 any thoughts ?

The best way to save face is keep the bottom half shut.

Yes I know that and thanks for your reply.

But I don't find it within the package manager as a package that can be installed - it is
NOT even listed in my list of installed packages.

I am just guessing, but it is probably in a package called kdenetwork4-4.3.4-1pclos2010.i586.rpm.
