heya Katie ...
the boot codes Hootie provided should help in installing that machine ...
the specs are great ... i think you might be surprised how well it work with that much resource

That black on black is hard for these tired eyes to read-- is there a cure??
The install went well- I used the "noscsi" code and didn't need 'ide=nodma'. (Also, the VESA was picked up from the install selection, so I didn't need to go back and do that later). Very nice install- great opening graphics. Seems to run quick.
I didn't do the Update (as I would normally do on a fresh install) as I read that they were seeding the repositories for 2010-- hopefully I can do that in a couple days.
This machine is a little less than I imagined:
PIII 500 (not 600+ as the others 2 are)
Memory 256 MegRAM
Found an unused 20 GigHD (so, pluses and minuses from my original estimation).
I was able to pull the smaller drives with Win2K (& save for spares).
I assume that the top and bottom bars are separated for some programming reason- it does take up a bit of real estate-- but such a neat front-end.
Thanks for all the work you have done to bring this to the community
