Con Kolivas new CPU scheduler
« on: September 23, 2009, 04:15:49 PM »
BFS. v0.232 is Con Koliva's new CPU scheduler module for the Kernel released August 2009.  Con is back!   Supposedly geared for significant desktop system performance.

Does anybody know if this might be a testing option in the near future?

Tex,

After reading the article you pointed to, it appears that the module is too immature to make a signifiacant  impact.  I agree that at this point, it's a waste of time until it's perfected, and to see if Con is going to support it.

With that acronym, the imagination can run wild. LOL!

But Con left little to the imagination.
