I have compiled my own 2.6.28.10 kernel.
Camera working great, i'm happy

and still waiting for new official kernel 2.6.28 or above.

Good for you. Did you have to add any patches, or was that already done in the 2.6.28.10 sources?

I have downloaded full source, no paches.
http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/v2.6/linux-2.6.28.10.tar.bz2
I hope that all necessary patches are inside full source, if not, never-mind my cam works
