Here in the attached screenshot e. g. the SlicknesS-Style ... for me too dark, but better than the default gtk-style!

Ok, downloaded, installed.  I need a little bigger panel, tried to make it bigger and it went down instead of up. Also tried to set the clock and it doesn't give me the option.

Text here in this reply box is black on a dark olive backround. I can barely see what I'm typing.

I fixed the problem with dark text in dark box here by changing to the Dark forum theme.  I found a FF theme that matches the wallpaper coloration theme - Orange Fox.

Haven't been able fix the time or panel problems yet.

I got the clock set, thank you.
Installed graphics driver, text box is still dark olive green in the default forum theme.
No matter, I can just switch themes. Monitor and vid card looks fine on every other OS, so I'm not fiddling.

Hey Kori,

I have to add one more here. That really is stunning!  :o  I just looked through the photo album you posted near the beginning of this thread and it really blew me away! You've done a lot of work Kori. Great stuff!  ;)

>Kori,

3 words-->a w e s o m e  and  b e a u t i f u l!!. My wife saw it and she wants it! Thank you for your hard work.

I tried it on my eeepc 900 (live from SDHC). But just some thoughts. I'm very glad that CPU scaling works. But when playing with scaling, it didn't accept any other governors than "performance". Went to PCC, enabled cpufreq and freq went down to 112MHz. Which is ok since the "ondemand" governor kicked in. But again I couldn't choose another freq neither governor. Maybe when installed on hdd, this could be done?

Double click on the Desktop icons? ::) Maybe one should do ;) and perhaps in the next release, Skype could be included (personal opinion ;)).

Darn guys, I just installed MM09 on my eeepc and bang bada bum, here comes something very beautiful again. Can you slow down a little bit please?

Again, thanks Kori.

Kori,

Thank-you, this is a beautiful release. I downloaded it late this afternoon and so have not had too much time to play.
As the previous release was so solid I don't expect any major hiccups.  Will let you know though. ;)

Very well done mate. :) :) :)

That's a Xfce problem and not just a problem with this release.

I ran the LiveCD and it is stunning. I'm thinking most seriously about installing it. Excellent job.

I might give Phoenix its due rise. You can't have enough Phoenixes battling KDE4 and Gnome ...

I'd like to echo the requests of other users for more than just the default theme. The default is way too dark for my taste, but the default install doesn't offer any other themes, and (at least from the live CD) I didn't see anything in the repositories.

I checked with xfce-look.org and didn't find my preferred xfce them (aqualemon), presumable because it's supposed to come with stock xfce. So, Sproggy, could we at least have the other stock choices back? Barring that, can you tell us where they are? Or were they right under my nose?

Otherwise, Phoenix is a superb piece of work, combining PCLOS' ease of use with a clean, efficient desktop manager. It's destined for my Thinkpad T42, as soon as I can find the right theme...

First off, this is a fine piece of work you have done here. Thank you.

For everyone who is interested in changing their themes, you can find more themes here http://www.xfce-look.org/
extract them into your themes folder as root
