[SOLVED] acetoneiso
« on: September 08, 2009, 02:32:21 AM »
i think is a little bug in acetoneiso on (and not only) pclinux2009
in acetoneiso at Archive Manager > Extract RAR password protected, i get this message :
no unrar-nonfree found in /usr/bin. Please install unrar-nonfree package.
so, actoneiso expects to find only unrar-nonfree file but in PCLOS that file is named unrar
If i rename unrar to unrar-nonfree everything works fine
Is there a way to fix that ?

Thx!

Create a link from unrar to unrar-nonfree. As root;

[root@localhost ~]# ln -s /usr/bin/unrar /usr/bin/unrar-nonfree           <Enter>

Any app looking for unrar will find it, and acetoneiso will find unrar-nonfree. Either way the job gets done. Everybody's happy. ;D

Of what use be there for joy, if not for the sharing thereof?
