[SOLVED] minime - network control center as user?
« on: August 23, 2009, 07:41:34 AM »
I have recently installed minime on an eeePC.  Currently the network configuration requires the use of a root password when roaming.  Is there a way to set up the wireless network configuration so that a regular user can connect to a wireless access point when roaming and without having to use the root password?  I am wondering if sudo could be configured to accomplish this.

In the Pclinuxos Control center goto the security tab and click "Configure authentication for Pclinuxos tools" and change "Wireless Network Roaming" to "No password"
Anything worth doing is worth overdoing.

Perfect, that did just what I needed.  Did not even know that option existed!

Thanks,
