contribs server

I just want to add here that with the current server we are having trouble with uploading packages where
sometime it is fine but in the most part it is slow to respond and kicks you out. I do have space on my server
and it is quite fast & dependable. Since we only need a holding place which is quite small & Texstar pulls the
packages really quick I was just wondering if you guys here would be willing to make any changes?

Why not to use several servers?

I don't think we want to convert the conveyor belt in more than one direction as it need to funnel down to
the big guy on the end. Keeping track on one server is the best speediest way for your pkgs to end up in the
hand of the final processor.

We don't want to place more work on Tex as he has enough to keep up with already! ;D

Ken has setup an alternate contribs server which is working very well. Those who have problems using the existing contribs server please send me an email or pm and I'll pass along the login information.
