Fixing Unwanted Repeating Letters When TTyping

Greetings:

Default installation of PCLinuxos 2009.1 and MiniMe 2009 have values set for the keyboard that don't allow for 'lazy finger' when typing.  This results in unwanted letters being repeatedly typed because one (or more) of my fingers lingered on the keyboard too long.  The result was goofy things such as 'google.coom' or 'linuxtoday.commm.' I fixed it by changing the default settings in KDE Kontrol Center.  Go to:

 Start>System>Configuration>KDE Control Center>Peripherals>Keyboard:

Under the 'keyboard repeat' dialogue area, adjust the 'delay' and 'rate' values to suit your typing style, or simply un-check the box to disable keyboard repeating. For instance, I changed the 'delay' from default of 660 to 700msec, and 'rate' from the default 25/s to 20/s and 'voila,' no more unwanted repeat letters.  

Hope this helps anyone else with lazy fingers like mine when I type.
