[SOLVED] Can't shut down Frostwire
« on: July 20, 2009, 06:08:57 AM »
There seems to be no good way to completely shut down Frostwire, other than a reboot of the system.  Clicking "X" on the window only minimized to the tray, and the option for shutdown is now missing from the options tab, but was there on the previous version.  Am I missing something simple?  ???

Use ctlr alt esc and the curser will change to skull and bones place it over the title bar and click it kills the program.

PS that kills what ever the curser is over at the time so be careful.  I first noticed the shut problem with last upgrade.  I am assuming they will get it fixed in the next release.

All this time all I tried to do is to kill the process using htop and never thought that the solution is all that too simple.

Thanks Texstar!

Hey cool. A new shortcut. I never knew about the ctrl+alt+esc for xkill. That's awesome. I was just looking for this frostwire hangup myself and got a bonus in the process.
