Musescore / Mscore package input
« on: July 16, 2009, 07:43:33 PM »
I tested my mscore rpm in minime and discovered that all of the defaults and demo files require 'Times New Roman'. As this creates a dependency on webcore-fonts (ms), so I used kfilereplace and substituted all references of 'Times New Roman' to 'Liberation Serif'. There were numerous replacements.

Ok, the question is should I create a patch with all of the replacements or a script to do the replacements as the files are built? I've made a patch and it works perfectly, but if the source changes (it is actively being developed) a new patch needs to be made. If I should write a script, anyone here know how to do it ;)?

Galen,
Use your patch. If the source is updated, and you package the update, update the patch, too. I believe that would be the best way to go. :)
