How to force automatic hdd checkup?

Hi everyone.

I think it might be handy after a power surge or if you dont want to setup tune2fs to check your partition every XX mounts.

Open console and type in su and then press ENTER on your keyboard. Next type in root's password and then press ENTER on your keyboard. Next type in cd / and then press ENTER on your keyboard. Next type in touch /forcefsck and then press ENTER on your keyboard. Next type in reboot and then press ENTER on your keyboard.
Now your system will reboot and when booting back all your linux partitions will be checked for errors.

I got sound card back to work on my IBM Thinkpad 600E after doing partitions check.
