Search PCLinuxOS Forum from Firefox

If you are running the latest Firefox from the repository you can search the PCLinuxOS forum from the toolbar on the top right just like you do with Google. Just select PCLinuxOS Forum from the drop down menu.

I don't know if the plugin is stilll relevant. It has been imported into Firefox-3.5.x. I had to rediff the search xml because the forum link changed. It works properly in Firefox-3.5.5-2pclos2010.

The forum search at the link above may still be helpful to those that use other browsers that are complient with the opensearch standard.  

I just updated the forum search plugin with the new / correct forum URL, that is why it is listed twice at the above link;  the old one should be removed within 7 days (once the mozdev folks confirm that the changes are not malicious)

The multi search plugin uses google, so the change to the forum URL is not important (it searches pclinuxos.com, mypclinuxos.com, the mag website, linuxgator, etc..using google).  It is not installed with firefox by default in PCLinuxOS (..yet ?)

Ok that one is different. The one we use one can pick the forum from the dropdown menu and search the forum only.
