pdfedit 0.4.2
« on: July 09, 2009, 05:42:47 PM »
Firstly I apologise for not checking the http://www.belrepository.com/doku/doku.php server to find out whether the previous packager is still active. I have e-mailed him. However, the server just seems to have a circular link.

Anyway, I needed this one in a hurry after I discovered the previous version (0.4.1) contains a nasty bug which can destroy files and render it useless, so I built it myself.

My test packages (if the previous packager is happy with this) can be downloaded at http://www.instabook.com/pclos/ (RPMS/ or SRPMS/).

Hope that's OK with everyone.

Since the maintainer section is blank in the repo, then I guess blank is the only one with hurt feelings.   ;D ;D

Seriously though, I've even updated some stuff that was done by names I have come to know and respect, even some stuff that Tex himself built.

I've heard no complaints from anyone.  Don't stop now, race ya to the next project!   ;D

Might look at this, if you don't know already:

Thanks Joble,

I hadn't realised that meant the wikis etc had moved. I don't package often enough. Every time I do something's changed!!

Anyway, hope this one tests OK. It's only a substitution of tarball and a dependency that's changed its name, so should be straightforward.
