After Burning CD will not Automount

Most CDs and DVDs I place in my drive will automount, but when I burn a CD, that CD will not automount.  I have to manually mount it.  Any suggestions on some items I can check that would help me determine why it will not mount?  I burn with K3B using the defaults of Linux+Windows.

i had this problem, it is k3b not releasing the drive or the disc

in k3b, after you finish the process select unmount or eject the disc, system should see the disc now

Thanks for the information.  I don't think that is the full issue though.  Because, if K3B locked the drive then I should not be able to mount it manually.  But to test it, I turned off the computer and then started it back up.  The CD still will not automount.

One thing I did notice while manually mounting, if I did not enter -t iso9660 (in other words left it out), the hard drive would spin and the CD would not mount.  I had to enter the -t option.  So I'm wondering if the settings being used to burn are affecting the automount.

BTW, manual mounting worked on the CD and the CD also worked in Windows.

[edit] Forgot to mention, using PCLOS 2009 and KDE 4.

i had this same problem in kde3 and in kde4 but i had different burners, in kde3 i had a internal one, now in  kde4 it is a usb drive

i don't have any other suggestions, lets wait if someone has a better solution
