Hang during live boot up [SOLVED]
« on: June 27, 2009, 03:56:55 AM »
Hi all, I placed the Phoenix disk in my Toshiba Portege M300 which is a pretty basic "Intel everything" laptop. It hangs at:

"Probing SCSI devices - Segmentation fault". I then tried the disk on a Toshiba Tecra M3 and it booted up fine.

Cheers

Solved it, I messed around with F1, F2 etc (could not see anything) and typed "noscsi" each time until I got a boot.
