Pinoc!

Indeed, it works under a new user account.

Pinoc!

Indeed, it works under a new user account.

ok, that implies that something is not as it should be in your user-account where LO does not start. Besides of deleting any libreoffice folder under ~ and ~/config/, or some wrong permission setting, I have no idea what else could cause your issue. The fact that it works fine in a new user-account shows that LibreOffice itself works fine.
Sorry but for now I have no further suggestion how to fix this.  :-[

Thanks Pinoc,

I have no idea myself but I'll sort it out.
I'll report back if any luck.

         Cheers, Hoos.

Just run it on my main machine. First attempt failed with:
Code: [Select]
...
wget: unable to resolve host address ‘download.documentfoundation.org’

Second attempt deleted the lock file.

Third attempt ended with:
Code: [Select]
...
  libreoffice3.5-mandriva-menus-3.5.5-3. ############################## [100%]
Done.
tee: standard output: Broken pipe
tee: write error

LO 3.6 is installed and working and the installation files are in /tmp/LO-RPM/, so this is just for information.

Please support the development of PCLinuxOS by getting a PASS account where the latest and greatest packages are available first, and the newest lomanager will be available later today already.  ;)

Thanks for all the work put into the way LO is managed and packaged for PCLOS!!!
I've updated LO on another distro and it's a rather messy affair.  :-\

Hi,
I'am on a PASS account since June.
lomanager updated to 3.6.4 without any problem as usual.
txs for the outstanding job.
When an issue has been resolved for you, please edit the original post to include <SOLVED> in the title. This provides a good indicator for users with a similar problem to check out the thread.

Did an update via PASS and saw a new lomanager.

lomanager-3.6.4-2pclos2013.i586.rpm

Running this update to 4.6.4. is resulting in errors

I got a pop-upbox with this message.
Quote
lomanager has been updated to the latest version
After we exit please run the updated LibreOffice Manager again.

Exiting..

I keep getting this after Exit and starting lomanager again.

The Konsole feeback is:
Quote
Internet connection working

/usr/bin/konqueror
http://[: Unterminated IPv6 numeric address.
--2012-12-24 12:37:17--  http://%5D/
Resolving ] (])... failed: Name or service not known.
wget: unable to resolve host address ‘]’
error: open of [ failed: No such file or directory
error: open of ] failed: No such file or directory

Could it be that this is caused by the fact that the package on
http://ftp.nl.freebsd.org/os/Linux/distr/pclinuxos/pclinuxos/apt/pclinuxos/2010/RPMS.updates is still having 2012 in its name?

(By the way: PASS is at 10% of its previous speed)

no, 2013 is not the problem. Fixed version coming soon, sorry.
-p.

edit:
- fixed version 3.6.4-3 is on PASS,
- broken version 3.6.4-2 will work fine when invoked with option --no-vtest
- old version 3.6.4-1 will work fine
