At least 64-bit new update fails, tried three times with three repositories.  :-[

works fine here on 32 and 64. Lomanager will directly download from the libreoffice servers and it does not provide any option to choose any kind of repo, so I wonder what you have selected there? lomanager fails does not give me any clue either, please provide more details and/or check the log-file: /tmp/lomanager-install.log

-p.

Thanks pinoc, believed that the repository was important, so I tried selecting in synaptic a different repository every time, my lomanager-install.log :

lomanager installation log file:
mar feb 14 23:21:56 CET 2012
lomanager-3.5.0-1pclos2012
Detected webbrowser: kfmclient exec
lomanager uptodate
Java already installed

no idea, maybe the associated LO-mirror next to your location has a problem. Please use the offline-installer mentioned in the original post.
-p.

pinoc you are right, web page downloads LibreOffice have any issues for version 3.5

Version 3.5 still no Synaptic rpm ?
It's in SRPMS.updates not in RPMS.updates.

For a new 32bit PCLos LXDE mini install I used the manual LibreOffice 3.5 install now.
(KDE is to much for this Celeron800 with TNT2Vid 1Gmem)
I Think you are to bussy ;)

Mirrors these days are so lazy on their rsync. I also checked and it was uploaded on ibiblio on Feb 14.

While searching I also checked ibiblio this morning.
It was not there, also the older 3.4.5 deleted.
But now available on my favo nluug.
Maybe use the option --delete-after in rsync ;)

Who ever synced this outstanding LibreOffice manager rpm, thanks in triplo.

Ed,
I'm not sure what went wrong that you and others could not see the RPM. I know it was there because I uploaded it. On reports that it was not there, I checked via my browser. It was/is in RPM Updates, which is where I sent it to.

You should really rephrase that to "SOME MIRRORS" are lazy on their sync.  I see that the mentioned rpm has been on my servers since 14 feb, 2012

@Neal ManBear
Date stamp on the mirrors is the same as yours.
And we are not mad at you.  ;D
Just wanted to install and tried to find out why not.
For now, the download with lomanager still stalls, I'll try it on another day.
Download directly from the LibreOffice site is fast like.....
