Latest one worked for me, as well (KDE; 5 systems; 2 laptops, 2 desktops and 1 netbook).

The only (self-inflicted) issues were the 2 desktops and the netbook, since I did them all remotely, over ssh on the same wireless network...did a little research on keeping the RPMs so I didn't have to re-download the same fileset three times...

Some info regarding encryption for the soon to be released LibreOffice 3.5

"Different Encryption Algorithm

In LibreOffice 3.5, a different, more often used encryption (AES) will be introduced to replace the previously used one (Blowfish).

In consequence, files encrypted with LibreOffice 3.5 can not be opened by LibreOffice 3.4.4 and earlier. LibreOffice 3.4.5 enables you to open those files. However, on saving again in LibreOffice 3.4.5, the old encryption will be used. Files with the old encryption of course can be used in LibreOffice 3.5.0 "

The following is from an TDF email I just received about the 3.5 release:

In addition, for the first time in the history of LibreOffice, we will be enabling the online update checker, which informs users when a new version of the suite is available.

"We inherited a 15 years old code base, where features were not implemented and bugs were not solved in order to avoid creating problems, and this - with time - was the origin of a large technical
debt," says Caolán McNamara, a senior RedHat developer who is one of the founders and directors of TDF. "We had two options: a conservative strategy, which would immediately please all users, leaving the code basically unchanged, and our more aggressive feature development and code renovation path, which has created some stability problems in the short term but is rapidly leading to a completely new and substantially improved free office suite: LibreOffice 3.5, the best free office suite ever."

=============

I personally think TDF have done a superb job with LibreOffice and tend to agree with the last sentence above.

Thank you once again, Peter! I didn't really mind running the development snapshot and it was already stable. But I would love the PCLinuxOS LibreOffice. It's so personal.  ;)

works fine here on 32 and 64. Lomanager will directly download from the libreoffice servers and it does not provide any option to choose any kind of repo, so I wonder what you have selected there? lomanager fails does not give me any clue either, please provide more details and/or check the log-file: /tmp/lomanager-install.log

Thanks pinoc, believed that the repository was important, so I tried selecting in synaptic a different repository every time, my lomanager-install.log :

no idea, maybe the associated LO-mirror next to your location has a problem. Please use the offline-installer mentioned in the original post.
