It installs Java
Never saw lomanager or addlocale installing Java. :o

I'd consider something's very wrong in your PCLOS install. :-\

Libre Office needs Java so the lomanager downloads that first, it has always done that afaik, pay some attention to it in the first windows that pop up. Check your menu, if correct you can find Sun Java 6u26 under More Applications.

What should be wrong with my clean PcLos KDE 2011.6 install? Totally nothing i guess, i installed it and just updated it that's all. I'm not the guy who messes around with a system. ;) :)

+1

Although not necessary, I always install java as part of the bunch of packages I always install on a newly installed system, along with kdepim4 - luckyBackup - Filezilla - KeePassX etc etc...

Then when I do eventually run lomanager it hasn't got to bother with java, but as I say this isn't necessary, just my way of doing things.........

??? Commenting (adding #) my local repo works fine. ???

Hmm, I've tried it all ways now, the only way I can get it to work is to delete the lines for the local repo's. ???
Most odd.

yep, commenting out may not be enough, will be fixed for the next version

Asked whether I wanted lomanager to delete the packages I answered No. However, when I tried to copy the RPMs out of /tmp/LO-RPMS/ there was no such directory.

Hey Pinoc!

Is it possible to have Libreoffice 3.3.3 installed instead of 3.4.2? 3.4.2 have a serious bug with footnots, that effects a lot of people and especially students/academic people. Libreoffice 3.3.3 is more secure for more advanced use. I would be glad if it would be possible to install 3.3.3.

Here you can read about the bug:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=39510

By the way Pinoc, PCLinuxOS have the best Libreoffice integration among the KDE distribution.  :)
Running PCLinuxOS on my USB. PCLinuxOS went bang on me. I have X-u-b-u-n-t-u on my laptop for now. Will give PCLinuxOS a try in the feature.
