lomanager 3.4.1 now available in your repo
-p.

PS: lomanager 3.4.0 does not work anymore because it will try to download version 3.4.0. This LO-version no longer exists on the LibreOffice download server because it was replaced with the updated version 3.4.1, which is properly dealt with with lomanager 3.4.1. =>

lomanger-<version>  <=> libreoffice-<version>

updated the alternative offline installation for the English_US version of LibreOffice 3.4.1, see Important Notes 1b in the original post. This option is useful for those having issues downloading from the LibreOffice servers.

3.4.1-2 out soon, change:
- updated all translations. Yes also French...
- added a test to see if the LO-basepack is still on the LO-servers. If not lomanager will tell you so and exit.
regards,
-p.

Hi pinoc,

I am supposing that if we have LO 3.4.1 and it's working, we do not need to update, yes?

yes, sorry I forgot to mention, no need to update if you already have 3.4.1. This 3.4.1-2 bugfix version will prevent future errors when there is a new LO-version and you run an outdated lomanager version.

Well I have kept my PCLos 2011 fully updated from synaptic.  So I was thinking that I would have the latest version of LibreOffice.  Wrong!  I had to install Lomanger 3.4.1 in order to get LibreOffice 3.4.1.  So unless you have a new install of 2011.6 I guess you still need to install Lomanger 3.4.1.

edit
To bad I didn't follow Tex on twitter.  I would have known that!

Yes, that is how it works. LibreOffice is updated through lomanager.

Hi Grandpa,
if you fully update your system you will automatically get any new version of any application, including lomanager. The main version of lomanager (now 3.4.1) corresponds to the LibreOffice version for which this lomanager version can be used. Any higher sub-version (like now 3.4.1-2) indicates small fixes applied to the main version. You only need to run lomanager to either install, uninstall, add a LO-locale, or update to a higher LO-version than you have installed on your system. You should update to any new lomanager-version but if LibreOffice 3.4.1 is already installed then you will only have to run lomanager in the future when LibreOffice 3.4.2 will be available, and what will be the name of lomanager? Yes, correct, it will be lomanager 3.4.2  ;)
