addlocale 3.8-1 coming to your repo soon with these changes:
- fixed detection of correct Synaptic repo setup
- fixed KDE4 detection on multi-DE systems
- preferred gksu over kdesu
- now reboot on reset to en_US
- updated to work with recent application changes in the repo
- replaced use of xterm with zenity dialogs
- updated all interface translation

Note: depending on your system constellation, earlier addlocale versions may lead to incomplete localization => Please update to the latest version 3.8!

In addition, updated languages archives have been processed and are now available on our server, ready to be picked up by addlocale.
regards,
-p.

Great ! Recently I had to re-install Gcompris in order to get it in French, in Edu RC6 fr. The changelog will probably help for this too ?

No, not the changes in the addlocale script itself but maybe the updated addlocale language archives. They include the latest translations for gcompris and maybe the previous language archives from December last year had older gcompris translations or those of a previous gcompris versions, don't know, just test to see what happens with the new language archives and the new addlocale.

I am updating a Edu RC5 which is in English, in Virtualbox, and will try the new Addlocale as soon as it will be available.

Thanks,

addlocale 3.8-2 coming to your repo soon with these changes:
- fixed a logical error in the setup which could lead to not applying updated translations

addlocale 3.8-2 is now more robust but may take a little longer to complete the localisation.

updated language archives, including additional translations from outside PCLinuxOS, are now available for addlocale.
Note: if you already localized then you do not need to run addlocale again.
