When starting a E17 session with KDM it returns to KDM
Did reboot my computer after installing the updated E17 packages.
Tried a  Xfce 4.10 session and no problems with it.

apt-get install task-enlightenment is your friend.

The post script is enabled and working here when I install or remove the desktop. The config is just some basic defaults. The rpm  doesn't get updated or it will replace the users desktop with the defaults.

/sbin/ldconfig

Edit: I removed e17 from both the 32 bit and the 64bit install then checked to make sure no E17 entry was in the KDM selection menu. I then installed task-enlightenment and logged out and E17 was in the KDM menu. I was able to log into the desktop.  I cannot duplicate your issue JW57.

They are from "test" section.
After downgrade E17 is working again!

The cause is lib64mount1 I  guess.
