Hi,

Seems that FreeNX is not in the repos ? (Or I was unable to find the correct name ? I can access the computer only from command-line...)

Where can I find the right version of rpm (hoping that I'll not have to install from sources  )

in synaptic, search for nomachine or simply install task-nx providing the latest stable 3.5.0 series.

I cannot use synaptic, as I have only SSH access !

I'll install task-nx with apt. But will this install the FreeNX server, or the NoMachine server ?

task-nx installs the following packages via apt-get:

The following NEW packages will be installed:
   lsof (4.87-1pclos2013)
   nxclient (3.5.0-7)
   nxnode (3.5.0-9)
   nxserver (3.5.0-11)
   task-nx (3.5.0-1pclos2011)
0 upgraded, 5 newly installed, 0 removed and 790 not upgraded.
Need to get 17.6MB of archives.
After unpacking 54.0MB of additional disk space will be used.
