Libre Office - Upgrade [SOLVED]
« on: April 12, 2013, 01:30:35 AM »
Currently, I am getting a flagged message from the Libre Office suite saying that there is an upgrade available. My normal practice is to only apply updates that come through the software depository. This seems to be the best practice to follow.
So, that's my question should I continue with this or apply the new upgrade available? I have had a similar message from the Bleachbit software which I ignored as this is a system critical piece of software so I waited for the software depository to supply the upgrade.

Hi Gary,

in your menu - office section you should find a program called lomanager.  Run it (click on it) and follow the instructions and you will have the newest Libre Office Pinoc has churned out for us.

Do not update from within Libre office.

Good Luck!
