Gidday from the Great Southern Land
« on: March 17, 2013, 01:56:13 PM »
Greeting one and all. I am from the Land Down Under and this is one of many attempts to leave the Dark Side. It's a bit like giving up smoking, in that one can do it for a while but then reverts back to the bad habit.
Presently trying to setup a PVR system and we will see how we go.
Anyway, as a newby, baby steps for a while before I run.

Welcome from around the world (Germany), grub!

A great source for knowledge and entertainment is the magazine, and have a look at the knowledge base. Many initial answers can probably be found this way.

I've learned my ways around PCLOS by reading new posts as well as searching the forums. I've found just about everything I needed to know.

If you can't find what you need, just ask. Many friendly helpers are waiting to jump in.

So, I hope you enjoy your first steps with the "distro hopper stopper"  ;)

Have fun!
