if you are using 64 bit rc1, i am using it since yesterday, works well  :)

I'm also using the 64 bit version. 4.10.1 is very smooth, and I have no problems at all.

really?

it looks identical to me

even had to recreate one of my taskbars because it refused to show where it should

i must admit that is not the first time it happens, overall, very good update

Screen lock not disappearing.

Looks like the screen lock has changed in this release. Any idea how to make it disappear if someone enters no password or the wrong password? It just stays up.

I already set CYD-->Display & Monitor-->Screen Locker-->screen save-->blank (start automatically is at 5 minute and PW is at 60 sec).

I've tried setting the start auto to 1 min, but it seems to have no impact on the screen lock login.

upgraded yesterday, until now only problem detected, kmix did not start automatically, I needed to go to menu and run it, as I didn't reboot the pc, I'm not sure if it will run on next reboot.

Update went smooth on my Asus Laptop. KDE runs beautifully, will update my desktop next. Hopefully the kio-mtp files will be included in the updates soon.  I would love to be able to connect to my Nexus 7.  Using wireless to transfer files now.

Thanks for the great update, y'all!

Check under Configure your Desktop -> System Administration -> Startup & Shutdown -> Service Manager
if KMixD is selected in Startup Services.

Well..., seems this version 4.10.1 has lost a nice function.
Hovering the icon of an open app in Icon-Only Task Manager it no more shows a mini image of the open app... :(
Is this a KDE issue?

Still shows it in SmoothTasks, so it seems likely that the widget needs to be updated .....  like some others

I can't get my Desktop Effects to work, I'll figure it out, or go without, not a problem.

I also got a heap of news games (which I'll never play !  ;D ) but I can uninstall them, If I want.

Basically good work and congratulations to the Packagers, or 'Advanced Magic People' who made this all happen so smoothly.

Great that we are updating KDE in much smaller increments, unlike 'that' other occassion.  :D  Nice !
