When I was young, the neighborhood kids would get together and play Monopoly.
There was one kid that when he was losing or had to go to jail he would tip over the board just like that guy and stomp away. I cannot seem to remember why we kept letting him play.

Monopoly can be hard, but LONG. A 3 hour movie is shorter in some cases.

On very rare occasion, "bad" company can be better than "no" company as long as you recognize it for what it is.

Board games, sports, whatever.
A reaction like that makes me want to give the guy a shove.

Only if unavoidable (relative, boss). I'd rather read a book.
But that's me. And do really like reading.

Myself, I am perfectly happy with no company at all but some people have to socialize. It is simply something they have to do.

My experience too.
I have 5 kids at home + 1 grandson. Nearly constant visitors, daughters boyfriends, son's gaming buds. All very good folks, but I still gotta hide out for some quiet.

I have been "blessed" with a family that understands my need to be alone.

They all understand when I "disappear" for short periods of time during family gatherings. 

For their understanding of me and my needs, I am thankful.
