PCLinuxOS will not find another linux during installation
« on: March 17, 2013, 01:46:26 PM »
My setup 2 HD drive IDE Master/slave
sda= linux mint11(master)
sdb (slave)= PslinuxOS full monty But under install PClinux von't find Linux mint 11 an put in my grub, tried to edit grub itself, but it fails
the grub end on the right HD Driv but i can't choose Mint it is not there

now back with sda linux mint 11 and sdb linux mint 14 it can figure out how to make a new grub.
I like PClinuxOS so I would like to have it. maybe I should try the ordinary KDE Desktop ?

maybe boot-repair can fix it ?

Edit PCLOS  /boot/grub/menu.lst  to include an entry for Mint ........  or create an entry for PCLinuxOS in the Mint bootmanager.
