It appears coffeetime has some time on his hands .  :D
There is a 5th dimension, beyond that which is known to man.It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity, between science& superstition,& it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call PCLINUXOS!

Honestly guy's, please start posting your favs, you're making me feel like a thread killer.  :D

A Cover of Hendrix's great song. Note the 16 year Guitarist, (John Frusciante) and what drugs do to you by comparing how mucked up he looks later in his career. Still growing too of course, but eck.

There's a famous Doco where, Johny Depp, and Hunter s. Thompson drop in on John during the worst part of his illness and document the state he's in. Thank God he had the strength to clean up, and get on with life, ...indeed.

This just came out of the blue while searching for some obscure unrelated lyrics, but it's still just as good as it was in 1971.

Paprika Korps - Mind Explorer

Quote from: Mind Explorer - Paprika Korps
Explore the mind and reach salvation
Solve the puzzle of creation

Past events, past lifes happened to you
More than just a feeling of a deja-vu
I feel like a onlooker into my past life
Cutting into previous times my mind the knife
When hallucinating seem things in dreams
Could I see into the future? It isn’t what it seems
I say it’s confusion the way that I feel
Chemical inside me makes it so surreal

Explore the mind and reach salvation
Solve the puzzle of creation

They hold the strings, salvation is far
You’D like to see things the way that they are
They don’t want you discovering your mind
They stay in power, while you stay blind
Wisdom, knowledge you must devour
Threaten convention, those in power
As will the opressors in authority
Who’d hate to see our land totally free

Explore the mind and reach salvation
Solve the puzzle of creation

Ragga technician is on the mission
Against those who stay in power while you stay in vision
Watch out a feel a reggae wide attack
Bad days now are gone, the rotten system gone out
So people people move your dancing bodies
Destroy the old statement make everything clear
Our mind shall burn, with or without cannabis
The time is incoming, and the prophecy is near

...And was the last film I ever saw in a commercial movie establishment... the Belford Outdoor Theater... the last of the old fashioned drive in theaters here, demolished shortly thereafter. Cheap Trick, being a local band, is a group I knew and partied with. I even sold Robin Zander the furnace and air conditioning for his home. The first of the group I met was Rick Nielsen, when we were just kids, hanging out at his father's music store. Come to think of it, he's an old fart now too, being only a year younger than me.  Hell, they all are, as Robin, the youngest of the bunch, turned 60 last January.  ;D ;D

O-P,

I know you posted this way back on the first page but it has been bugging me... Is there anything that you have not been involved in, first hand? LOL ;)
