SOLVED - Help findin Dolpin

I am recovering from a failed update procedure and am running the latest KDE version after a minimal install.

After I was logged into KDE I ran Synaptic and installed all of the KDE components that I thought we missing, but the Dolphin File Manager is still not running when I select a folder.

Is the a command or list of KDE packages that I could select for installation that would get my KDE installation complete?

Thanks in advance -

Start konsole and type: rpm -qa | grep kde

Then you see the installed kde packages.

Or search in synaptic with dolphin.

Doesn't Dolphin start when you type: dolphin (enter) in konsole?

A system reboot or session reboot (reboot KDE)  helps mostly.  :)

There are a couple of older packages remaining .......  version   4.6.5

I would suggest doing a search in Synaptic for   4.6.5   and change the 'Look in'  line to 'Version' from the drop down options.

Remove any 4.6.5  packages  and install any equivalent  4.9.5  packages not already installed.

plasma-applet-didyouknow   is the only 4.6.5  package showing up in a search in Synaptic here ....  and is not installed.
