Nvidia .......  I am using a 550Ti .......  but there are many supported cards that can do this ......  really depends on the budget .....

Check the Nvidia site for support in Linux for your chosen card.

Here's a good way to compare video cards after you pick some out.  Do a search and compare numbers. Then google reviews about the card you want to buy to see if its junk or not.

Good idea. I should have done that  ??? ;D; at least it looks like I'm ok with what I just bought.

I always liked nvidia for linux OS easy to setup.
If u can afford the 660GTX Ti that would be a good card for your dollar.
