LO problem running 64 bit RC1 (Solved)
« on: March 03, 2013, 07:32:38 AM »
This surprised me today:

Just wanted to open a file (ppt) by the usual double click I use and:

Mind you, I am running LO 4 !

The file btw opens fine when I use "Open with".   Something borked at my end or ... yeah, what?

Did download a ppt test file and tested with a double click using Dolphin and Impress started at once.

If you just run lomanager again to repair the installation? This should correct the file extension associations.

Yes that might be the case. But I learned there is a newer version on its way again so I think I see it through for now and wait for the new update. Hope that will solve it.

uninstall any old version using lomanager. Then, instead of waiting, get the latest OfflineInstaller for 4.0.1 and run that. Any language interface for 4.0.1 can then be added with lomanager 4.0.1 once the LO-guys have published 4.0.1 officially.
good luck!

Yep, that did it!  All works normal now.
