Hi friends, recently I decided to upgrade from kde 2012 to kde 2013 and I realized the panel or taskbar in kde 2013 is black, not trasparent or translucid like kde 2012 was, have already tried downloading transparent themes to no avail(the glassified theme is black, not transparent like it should be), please tell me how to make the panel transparent like kde 2012, I really liked the translucid panel in kde 2012, but don't want to go back and reinstall kde 2012! thanx 4 your time!

This is the panel I'm talkin' about--->>>

Open up "Control your Desktop" (system settings), click on Desktop Effects and activate "Enable desktop effects at startup".

If you get a bunch of messages regarding effects that can't be activated, just log out and back in.
