X.Org refers to several things related to the X Window System:

xorg is part of the graphics, controlling access to video

it handles drivers for video cards and similar stuff, we are using the version 1.10.4 i think but not sure if that makes reference to xorg or x11 files

in konsole i wrote Xorg -version and mentions 1.10.4 too

the version 6.8, if i remember correctly was required to install old ati drivers with 3d support

it is too old to even consider using it because xorg depends and requires elements from other sections of linux and it the version you need is too old or too new, system won't be able to handle it

install it independently form what synaptic offers would mean that you download source files from x.org and compile the files to make the required packages to install them, a process that is not easy at all

do you have a specific reason to require the group of drivers and the xorg from 2004?

if you are trying to install a video driver from amd or nvidia websites and it mentions those versions of xorg, it won't work, newer xorg doesn't support those old drivers

xorg native drivers should support it without needing drivers that won't work with current xorg

I want to try to add old driver to the system.

Minimum System Requirements for install

Before attempting to install the ATI Proprietary Linux driver, the following software must be installed:

POSIX Shared Memory (/dev/shm) support is required for 3D apps
    glibc version 2.2 or 2.3
    Linux kernel 2.4 or higher
    XOrg 6.7,6.8,6.9,7.0 or 7.1; or  XFree86 version 4.3

Or build new kernel and add driver to kernel.
however, I do not know how.  If this will be too difficult, I leave it.

the driver might need is not open source if it is the one i'm thinking, so you can't compile/build it, it is a process of add and load by xorg but you need a older version and a older kernel

those ati drivers were popular for killing xorg and leaving you with just console, forcing you to reinstall

you are giving us too few details about what you want to do with the hardware you have and the problems you are experiencing with current drivers, we need to know more details to offer better help or a better recommendation, i am just guessing, i'm good at it but not good enough, please, more details, without them, i say that you should forget the drivers, it won't work on any current distro

Your answer was sufficient and not related to my question above.
Above all please peace.
We regret to inform you that for now I just wanted the Xorg on pclinuxos, How this work, how work drivers in X.org
X.org is free software in pclinuxos. DKMS is also free software.

This is gonna never work!!!

You can't use the driver(s)  (2004 stuff) in a 2013 install
Xorg is not compatible with  that driver.
The kernel don't allow old 2004 drivers.
The kernel don't allow old 2004 xorg packages.

Even the toolchain can't build old stuff to build  a 2004 driver into the kernel (what DKMS does).

If you have old hardware in your system only the Ati driver from xorg can be used.

no, you are not trying, the problem is that 3 persons confirmed that it won't work, so, what are you doing?

Ok, I give up,
I believe we can add drivers to the kernel, but do not know how
First step we need to create a module with the driver,
the kernel module has the extension ". ko" , but I can' t compile.
It would be best  strip rpm source code.
This data is not enough,
errors by me they do not speak much.

Maybe will useful some simple tools
like ollygdb, ida, ida pro for windows
valgrind or gdb ( (gdb) layout asm ) with ltrace can be helpful for Linux.
I would look yet but I have more important things to take care of I neglected.
