Introducing ME
« on: February 23, 2013, 06:20:02 PM »
Hi all,

I am in New Zealand.  I have used PCLinuxOS for many years.  I used to be member here many years ago, so long that I have been dropped for not using the forum.  Well I haven't needed to as this distro just works  - well mostly.  I have tried other distros and  have dual boot Kubuntu 8.04 and PClinuxOS on my main computer and back up.  Kubuntu doesn't get much of a look-in these days.

Cheers
qwill

Hi qwill,
Welcome to the best.
I'm sure, you will grow out of that other distro, once you find all you need is here.
Enjoy, Dan

qwill,

I was going to greet you by saying, "A warm welcome, from New Zealand". However, that seems inappropriate since you too are a Kiwi. A warm welcome anyway.
Wonder what part of our currently parched country you live in. I am in Palmy
Like you, I have tried that K type distro but this suits me just fine.

Hi, and welcome to our little family called (pclos) PCLinuxOS, from Germany, qwill!

As a longtime user of PCLinuxOS, i can say only it works  ;D

Daniel
