k3b error burning 64 bit (resolved kinda sorta)

hey people having trouble burning the 64 bit dvd version with k3b . i have downloaded the iso along with the 32 bit dvd version (2013.2). the md5 sums come out correct and no problem burning - installing the 32 bit version but when i attempt to burn the 64 bit version the error happens at about the 1.35 gb stage . this has happened 3 times in a row, each time with a different iso downloaded from a different mirror . any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem on a fresh install from the latest 32 bit ISO, burning hangs at the same point yours does. I think it's a k3b issue because I downloaded GnomeBaker and burned the ISO with that instead and got a perfect burn. I tried burning it with k3b four times, twice to DVD-RW and twice to DVD+RW media and it failed at the same point.
