GTK3 appearance
« on: February 21, 2013, 05:03:31 AM »

Program interface GTK3 (Audacious, Bluefish) look at PCLinuxOS is not beautiful.
GTK2-program look good, but the new versions of these programs will move to GTK3.
Can I do anything to improve the appearance GTK3 in PCLinuxOS KDE?

Hey Serj have you looked in

Config Your Desktop > Common Appearance and Behavior > Application & Appearance > GTK Configuration - Get New Themes (offers choice between GTK2 & GTK3

to see if any New Themes take your fancy?

Don't know how good the new themes are as I've never needed to use them

I mean something like this:

This release is still experimental, notably due to the small amount of GTK 3 applications it has been tested on.

I would guess that means it is not yet at a suitable stage for most users.

Since the publication of the article was more than a year.

Published 10 releases of this package:
http://download.kde.org/stable/oxygen-gtk3/
http://download.kde.org/stable/oxygen-gtk2/

In other distros it has long been working. :(

Oh, thank you very much!
This is an interesting option. The main thing is to work well with GTK3. ;)

Tried.
Does not work with fonts.
Does not work with GTK3.
In general, works worse than gtk-oxygen-molecule.
Go back to gtk-oxygen-molecule.
