I am not in the UK and had no difficulty playing the original video.
According to your profile you are in Ireland - so either the Beeb's IP filters aren't fine enough, or they consider you "close enough".
You will have to use a proxy
I have VPN I could use if I wanted to. But the point is - why should I have to? I'm pretty sure I used to be able to watch Click online at one point. As someone else said - I think this is related to the fact that they have moved the programme to their iPlayer which is only available in the UK. But that begs the question - if Click (TV) can only be seen in the UK or on the BBC World News cable/satellite channel, what was the point of re-naming the WS radio programme?
The BBC are working on a project that will allow viewers outside the UK to watch iPlayer by subscription
Another gift from the BBC Brains trust... iPlayer International is up and running in the US and more recently in Canada (where I am) BUT: It is only available for the iPad and it's not even the same content that is available in the UK.
While I still dearly love Aunty Beeb (fond memories of listening to the Home Service) and am very grateful to be able to receive her streaming radio and podcasts - I find some of these internet related quirks rather frustrating.
BTW - I just noticed that we are in the Hardware Discussion forum and not The Sandbox. My apologies if I've gotten us into trouble.
Gregg.
