[SOLVED]rawstudio ufraw ufraw-gimp
« on: February 06, 2013, 05:20:50 AM »
rawstudio, ufraw and ufraw-gimp are removed by today's, 06 feb 2013, update (PASS)
After the update i could install all 3 without any problems.

So it was a 3 minutes problem, but should not happen ?

Seeing a similar case today (non-PASS).
Quote
To be removed
  darktable
  ufraw
  ufraw-gimp

Not seeing anything replacing them, but lensfun is being upgraded (along with a large number of libs...

Will see what it does, after a little more searching...

EDIT
Adding back ufraw and ufraw-gimp reports
Quote
Unchanged
  liblensfun0

and appears to have processed OK.

EDIT2
Adding back darktable reports the same "Unchanged" for liblensfun0 again...

Appears to install OK.

Should this be a Broken Package report?

EDIT3
If I "Reload" and "Mark All Upgrades", Synaptic wants to remove darktable, ufraw and ufraw-gimp again, without doing any installs or upgrades.  Not going to let it, for now...

I have had both Rawstudio and UFraw install for many months and taken all the updates including the lensfun update.  Both are working fine here.

Confirmed.

Upgraded liblensfun0 to 0.2.6, and nothing was removed.

Thanks!

Back to PASS
Now an update wants to remove:
digikam
digikam-libs
kipi-plugins
kipi-plugins-libs
and when I want to install the hold packages:
libkface wants to remove the upper 4
opencv wants to remove frei0r-plugins an openshot but update the also on hold kipi-plugins update witch remove digikam... again.

I quit updating for a while ..............

Been holding off for the last few days, as well...saw your message, so I thought I would check (non-PASS), but I couldn't run Synaptic:
Code: [Select]
[jpaglia@paglia-e6500 ~]$ su -c synaptic
Password:

Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0
[jpaglia@paglia-e6500 ~]$ su -c xterm

xterm: Xt error: Can't open display: %s
[jpaglia@paglia-e6500 ~]$

So, I switched to root, and tried from the console:
