I'm not a JAVA type but I thought there might be some interest here. 

Intellij IDEA is a commercial JAVA IDE, available for Windows, Mac, Linux.   A bit expensive, but there is a free community version.

hi,

i do not use this but my boss does. He says it is a really good ide it's only disadvantage is that it uses a lot of ram. he uses it on a netbook i think it have just 2gb of ram and it becomes very slowly when he shows something to me in this IDE. so i would recommend to use it on systems with more than 2gb ram.
