[SOLVED] Updated NTFS-3g driver broke! Won't automount...

Try this:

Download this file and copy it (as root) to /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/10osvendor
Make sure the permissions are correct:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root   501 Feb 28  2011 10-ntfs-3g-policy.fdi
Then restart haldaemon (or reboot)
See if that fixes it.

Too late I read this thread, I just updated    now, after rebooting I can't even mount the FAT32 partition in my work laptop.

It used to be that such updates which corrected broken packages etc went to the public mirrors at the same time ......  has this changed?
