Wow giving that much time to tell someone why they should hate a font, when most people don't really care one way or the other. I think that there are a whole lot worst fonts out there that are used on a far to regular basis.

I have to agree with the consensus that Comic Sans is whimsical, ugly, empty-headed, etc., etc., and that it really doesn't have a place among formal business letters and signage. However, there's also no argument about the fact that it remains one of the most readable fonts around.
