Exactly my situation... I came from more than 8 years on Mandriva, and PCLinuxOS is just what I wanted.   Welcome aboard!

Its been 2 months since my first install of PCLinuxOS.
and my desktop has never ran better,I dont know why so many people are hung up on Windows.
When they could be using PCLinuxOS as their OS.
Oh well maybe they will see the light one day.
I give PCLinuxOS a rating of 5/5,Ive tried all kinds of distros and nothing compares to PCLinuxOS.

tried a new game called web of deceit black widow collectors edition,and was impressed its not linux native but works under wine no problem.
