I have recently bought a levono E530 thinkpad edge laptop. I dual boot win7 (for work reasons) and PCLinuxOs -latest.
There are some problems, mostly related to graphics -I'm using the intel 810 or later option but I don't believe it is correct.
I've read that Bumblebee may be the solution -but I don't think it's in the repositories yet for PcLinuxos.

Most of the issues I believe are driver related -fan,sound and mostly graphics.

If anyone knows the solution for this machine I'd be grateful

Graphics issues you can get if your laptop have a mobile Nvidia 6xx Optimus graphics chipset (can be solved with the Bumblebee hack).
Optimus is a Nvidia/Intel gpu set (the Intel gpu is build in the cpu) and this the gives issues.
If your laptop have a Intel or Nvidia mobile gpu set only (non Optimus) then is the Bumblebee hack not needed.
