if you are on a slow connection download and run the OfflineInstaller.

After Shutdown of all devices, Computer, Modem, etc.,  it's done. Go figure  :D

I didn't have the same error message as the OP but I had trouble updating LibreOffice with lomanager. I was getting the error message about my system not being up to date. I check for updates every couple of days at the most.

As was posted in an older thread here, running:
'lomanager --no-updatetest' from a console, worked. I was able to update from LibreOffice 3.6.5 to 4.0. I don't know if the same issue was causing the update test to fail.

I think my Computer and Modem simply needed refreshing, it has been very hot, even though I run a room fan to cool myself, and the equipment down.
