I seem to have a problem and seek the help of anyone who can answer why this happens. I have two computers that I run PCLinuxOS on. 1 is the regular PCLinuxOS the other is the XFCE4 Desktop. I have run the synaptic manager on both and it seems that at one point something goes wrong and after I make sure that I complete all the updates, meaning that I reload, mark all, and apply until it will not apply anymore, then reboot. I continually get message after logging in that says "you are attempting to run drak3d which requires admin privileges, but more information is needed in order to do so." I enter my "Authenticating" password and then it takes me to 3d desktop effects. At this point no matter what I select it gives me this error message. Please reboot if you have changed the video driver or enabled/disabled pulse audio. For all other setting log out and back in again. I do a reboot and the same thing happens. What the heck happened here? I (to my knowledge) have not made any such changes. What do I do now?
Thanks
