I just thought I would remind some of us of that, those of us that use PCLinuxOS on a daily basis for our work and business, and just for enjoyment. As some of you may or may not know from my posts that I have a small business that does web design and I just recently decided to add my other hobby of photography as part of my business, and decided to get back into some studio work.( I was a professional photographer years ago and kind of drifted away from it) I looked at two programs I wanted to buy to use for photo enhancement and corrections and of course these were both windows programs. I knew a few years ago that although I would like to do all of my work in PCLinux, I had to be realistic and still have a windows computer for some of the programs that I needed to use , mainly for flash building and another web builder program. I assumed that buying the photo programs would mean that they also would have to reside on the windows box. But to my surprise, both of these fairly expensive programs loaded and installed with WINE on my PCLinux machine, and have all the functionality that they would have on a windows machine. I was truly amazed and just wanted to share this with some that may stumble across this thread and might also be inspired to give those programs that you just don't think will work a chance and you to may be amazed with PCLinuxOS. I have been a PCLOS user since .93 I believe, and it never ceases to amaze me. Thank you everyone that is and has been involved in it's development, you truly have a reason to be proud.
