...since updates : mount issues....
« on: February 10, 2013, 06:28:00 PM »
...i  dont see my usb drives or camera SD cards show up in a window (when inserted) anymore...it used to work fine with the 2012-09 version....whats up? I did search but found answers for KDE...I think i read something about this issue a while back but i dont remember exactly where - and WHY did it change?
What it does now : it SHOWS on the file section = and i can access everything - BUT when i RIGHT CLIK to unmount - all kinds of weird things happen - one being the file WINDOW shuts off and the DESKTOP appears - leaving the USER to WONDER .....?
...anybody question this? and whats the fix?

If you are viewing the contents of a partition that you unmount, the file manager has nothing to display.

It has been known to close under such circumstances.

Thanks J17...i just inserted another and unmounted - (also checked if all the proper boxes were selected...) and NOTICED a small black window in the upper right NOW POPS UP and says: its OK (SAFE) to remove the media...
I wasnt familiar with this "change"...and it probably had to "update" or reset a few times before this happened  ...I'l keep checkin...but it seems ok , for now...maybe a small glitch that worked its way out?
