Hello!

          Hi all!

     My name is Paul and I am from Romania. My job is electronics engineer and worked several years in research and development in the automotive industry. Now I got two years free to be with my newborn daughter and clear my mind.

   I used Windows for many years (home and to work, and I had enough of it), but lately having more free time I started to test a lot of Linux distributions. I confess that PCLinuxOS is the first one I used as the only operating system on the PC and I'm very pleased with it. Thank you all for your hard work, you did a really great job!
 
  I have read many things on this forum, and thank you for all the good advice; because I do not feel comfortable enough with the English language, I prefer to read more and write less.

Welcome!! Thanks for stopping in to share your story. I would not be concerned with your English proficiency, as I understood everything from your post. There are contributors and users from around the world participating in this forum. So, welcome from the Northwest, USA.

Welcome to the forum Paul.

Your English is just fine. Don't worry about it. Besides, it's good practice posting here.  ;)

Make yourself at home, and just enjoy yourself getting to know some of our resident crazy folks. That's pretty much all of us. If you have any problems, there are a lot of knowledgeable people here that can help. If you have no problems, check out the sandbox, and join in the fun.  ;D
